At SLAY Loans, we know that change starts with people like you. SLAY AF (Supporting LGBTQ+ Adults, Youth, And Families) is a queer-led liberation model finance nonprofit offering zero-interest loans as mutual aid for the queer community.

Why Your Support Matters

In 2026, queer and trans people and our communities are under attack. Financing is how we can fight back, giving our people the resources they need.

  • Many LGBTQ+ people lose financial support from family after coming out.

  • Transition-related care often comes with high out-of-pocket costs and poor insurance coverage. One-third (33%) of people who receive gender affirming care reported spending at least $10,000 out of pocket.

  • 51% of LGBTQI+ individuals have less than $5,000 in savings.

  • One in ten queer people report discrimination from banks and lenders. 

  • Gender-affirming care for queer and trans people is generally not available through other organizations as a zero-interest loan.

  • Nonprofits using zero-interest lending report 99.7% repayment rates, because when we’re trusted, we show up for each other.
